Customers’ Advance Deposit
User Scenario:In order to minimize the transaction risk, wholesale merchants will ask customers to pay a portion of amounts in advance, and these amounts can be offset against the document amounts and arrears in subsequent billing and collection. Common names include: advance deposit, advance receipt, advance payment and deposit. Function Description:Deposit the customer's advance deposit in the customer management, and offset the document amounts and customer's arrears at the time of billing and collection. Target Customers:for all customers, commonly found in the industries, such as food, building materials, clothing, hardware and agricultural supplies Others: Meet the scenario of “stored-value first and then consumption” for retail merchants
- Operation Steps: Click on Customer - View - Go to Deposit.Enter the deposit amount, settlement account, and click on OK.
Click on the deposited amount to view the deposit and consumption record.Or click on Adjust to adjust the current deposit amount.
- The sales ticket can be offset against the document amounts by the customer's advance deposits.
- In the receipt, advance deposits can be used to offset against the customer’s arrears or the settlement of document
